HORTITAPE was established in 1989 and has grown every year since then, thanks to many satisfied customers.
Budding & Grafting Tape
HORTITAPE is easy to use and extremely flexible, especially in humid or hot conditions.
This enables a substantial saving on labour costs with every roll. As the price of our tape is only a cent or two per plant, it more than pays for itself in labour saving. Budding and grafting tape comes in a range sizes to suit any type of plant or any type of budding or grafting procedure. It ranges in size from 12 mm to 25mm wide in clear or embossed.
Plant Tie Tapes
We have chosen the strongest plastics possible for this application to enable more metres per roll.
When comparing our tapes with other tapes , remember, that because of HORTITAPE’S strength
our 33m tape is equivalent to other 26 or 27m tapes
our 25m tape is equivalent to other 20m tapes
our 20m tape is equivalent to other 16m tapes.
This means you end up with 25% more tape per roll
when using our Plant Tie Tape.
Hortitape also supply a quality tie tape gun for those of you who have not tried the benefits of this time saving device.
If you require a hand tying tape for plants too large for Tapener gun applications, we also have a Heavy Duty Tie Tape available in 50m x 19mm and 50m x 25mm rolls.
Grafting Sealant
A.T.C.S. tree wound dressing has been developed by a tree surgeon who was tired of bitumen-based products cracking and peeling and allowing fungi, pest and disease to infect trees.
* Modified water based acrylic coating with the ability to expand and contract through heat and cold, thus protecting the tree at all times (for up to 3-4 years)
*Avaliable in three colours (brown, light grey and white) to cater for the amount of light or heat you want on the graft or prune. The grey and brown are also good for amenity horticulture as the colours blend well with the bark.
* Brushes wash out in water as there are no harmful solvents.
